Peaceful Pembrokeshire Farmhouse

Peaceful Pembrokeshire Farmhouse set in a sheltered garden adjoining the coast footpath and ideal for visiting the bird sanctuaries of Skomer & Skokholm.

Whatever the season Skerryback is the perfect place to stay with its bracing coastal walks in winter and its sheltered sunny garden and flower bedecked cliffs in summer.

Sailing in Pembrokeshire

A short walk down the road is the sheltered creek of Sandy Haven with its oyster catchers and herons fishing in the stream.

Following the path through the bluebell wood of Sandy Haven and along the coast is the steep cliff path down to the lovely sandy beach of Lyndsway. On a little further you will come to Monk Haven, and nestling in the valley behind the old monastery walls is the ancient church of St Ishmaels, and so the coast path goes on, something different around every corner.

A very special day out is a trip to Skomer or Skokholm Islands, in summer they are carpeted in flowers and the puffins just have to be seen.

Skerryback Pembrokeshire Coast Path

Skerryback is a good base for seeing the whole of Pembrokeshire with its host of activities, golf in Milford Haven, a superb riding centre at Nolton and no end of water sports.

To the south are the castles of Pembroke, Manorbier and Carew. While to the north is the smallest city in the country with the remains of the Bishop’s Palace and its unique cathedral dedicated to the patron saint of Wales, St David.

Breakfasts are a real treat using Pembrokeshire Produce

Two attractive double en-suite bedrooms, with tea and coffee facilities, look out across horses grazing in the meadow. The lounge is for guests’ use only with a real fire on chilly evenings and lots of information on where to go and what to do.

Breakfasts are a real treat using Pembrokeshire Produce whenever possible, the ideal way to start the day.

Whatever your choice you will receive a warm Pembrokeshire welcome at Skerryback with tea/coffee and cake on arrival, served in the garden if a nice day, or the lounge.
